Jennifer Bird decided to create ‘Conscious Artists’ after seeing the unsustainable practices in the fashion industry. The agency provides a platform for cruelty-free, vegan-friendly makeup artists and stands up for sustainable beauty and diversity. The artists represented have made the conscious decision to use only cruelty-free products in their kits, therefore providing the perfect opportunity to work with brands that support the same ethical values.
With the rise of veganism, there is an increasing demand for information about our food and products’ origin. Individuals and businesses are realising their impact on the planet. As a result, major brands and stores are setting targets to become more sustainable, and smaller eco-friendly brands are gaining attention.

‘Conscious Artists’ work with a wide range of clientele on anything from commercials and editorials to campaigns and VIP events. They also do e-commerce shoots, look books, film, and television. Although they are a London-based agency, their artists can travel for work anywhere in the UK and abroad.
The beauty industry has started to change, with many brands offering cruelty-free (not tested on animals) and vegan products (not contain animal-derived substances). Consumers and beauty professionals are more than ever interested in good quality natural makeup products containing no animal ingredients or harmful parabens.
